Happy Endings

Happy Endings is an American sitcom set in Chicago, Illinois. I first saw it in New York in the summer of last year and I fell in love with it. I was so excited when I heard it was coming to the UK on E4. It's on on Thursday's at 9:30 on E4 and repeats are shown a lot. It's one of my favourite programmes and I'd highly recommend anyone to watch it.

Thanks for reading, bye...

Yotam Ottolenghi

For Christmas my Dad was given a vegetarian cookery book called 'PLENTY'. It was made by Yotam Ottolenghi, a chef who writes for the Guardian. I have made four dishes out of the book and they were all very tasty, even if I do say so myself. The book is available to buy on Amazon or Waterstone's* and its definitely worth the money*. The recipes I've made are as follows; Sweet Potato Cakes, Leek Fritters, Royal Potato Salad and Sweet Potato Wedges.

Thanks for reading and I hope that you'll take my advice.

How I Met Your Mother

Kids, I'm gonna tell you the story of how I met How I Met Your Mother.

Someone told me about HIMYM a while back, but I thought it was just another rip off of Friends and it is very similar, but in a way that's what makes it great. How I Met Your Mother is a brilliant show, its got a great cast, its got a great storyline. Technically the show is set in the year 2030 and the whole thing is just a big flashback, future ted (the narrator) is talking to his children (Lyndsy Fonseca and David Henrie) who are about 16 to 18 years old, about how he met their mother, but who the mother is, is kept a secret. There are a few hints to who the mother is such as she owns a yellow umbrella and she studied economics at Columbus university but its still kept a mystery. The programme stars Josh Radnor as young Ted Mosby, Jason Segel as Marshall Erikson, Allyson Hannigan as Lily Aldrin, Cobie Smulders as Robin Scherbatsky and Neil Patrick Harris as Barney Stinson. The show is a great laugh and is on every weeknight at 7:30 on E4 and on Thursdays only brand new HIMYM is shown at 9:00 on E4 aswell. This is one of my favourite scenes and it should get you wanting to see it, sorry for the subtitles.
